Sometimes I answer questions before I fully understand what is being asked! This happened yesterday. On a whim, I went to get my hair cut. I told my hairdresser to "cut it all off!" I was just tired of having such long hair. It looked nice when I fixed it but I never did. It was always in a ponytail. I knew it was time to get it cut because I usually wear it down when we go someplace nice but last Sunday I got ready for church and what did I do? Stuck it in a ponytail!
Now back to answering questions too fast. My hairdresser asked me if I wanted it "stacked" in back. Not being very knowledgable about hairstyles, I said "sure!" And then watched about 7 or 8 inches fall to the floor! LOL! I'm not sure I wanted it quite this short but I like it and so does Marty. But the back is really short! My daughter, Lauren, was also excited. When I got home, she said, "You have my haircut!" She also had long hair and just recently got it all cut off.
Hey, you have MY haircut too. I does look cute, lol. My problems aren't with the cut anymore, it's with the color. I dread going to the hairdresser to see what color it will be this time, even though it's the same girl and the same color applied....go figure.TFS your day!
ReplyDeleteI love your post Robyn. I finally realized about 'stacked' though I still never know what to tell the hairdresser. And I fully understand lovin' the long hair until every day become a ponytail. Been there! Your hair looks darling.

you look CUTE! and when your family likes it (instead of saying mom what did you do to your hair) you know it's a winner!
ReplyDeleteYou look so cute with your new haircut Robyn! I never would have known what "stacked" meant either! LOL
ReplyDeleteMy definition of stacked has nothing to do with anything above the neck. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable Robyn.
Oh so cute! Love your cut, Robyn! You look like a flapper! tee hee! I have worn a short or longer bob practically my whole life, with the exception of just a few side trips down hair mistake road! Bangs, no bangs, a few layers, no layers...flip up, flip under...lol...it just seems to be what my hair wants to do! :)
ReplyDeleteAnother thing we have in common!
Love the cut. Very cute, very stylish. I think it suits you.
ReplyDeleteI love the new do! it looks wonderful!
