Dallas Museum of Art - Tiffany Exhibit

I wrote in yesterday's post that Marty had a big surprise planned for our anniversary. It was a wonderful day and I created this scrapbook page to remember it. (Click on the picture if you want to see a bigger version.) Big thanks to my mom for watching our kids while we went out!
The journaling reads: On our 11th anniversary, Marty surprised me with a visit to the Dallas Museum of Art to see the Louis Comfort Tiffany exhibit. It was pretty cool. We don’t usually do such arty things so it was neat to get a little culture! After we left the museum, Marty told me we were going to dinner. He knows how much I love steak and had made reservations at Del Frisco's which is one of the best steakhouses in the country. We ordered king crab legs as an appetizer and both had filets for our main course. And for desert, we shared the best cheese cake I had ever had! It was a great day all around and I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful husband.
I had to get the Tiffany lamp and window pictures from the Internet because they didn't allow photography in the exhibit. The only picture I got was the one here in the lower left which was outside of the exhibit and I thought it was ok to take a picture but got in big trouble for taking it! OOPS! At least they didn't confiscate my camera. LOL! Besides the scanned in stuff, almost everything here is from Michelle Coleman's Grandma's Attic kit available at Scrap Artist. The only exceptions are the gem butterfly and staples which are from her Free Spirit kit. Fonts are Times New Roman, B0bmono and Antique Type 1 (by Hope Wallace available at Scrap Artist). Created in Photoshop CS2.
