Angels!

Sometimes I just start playing with a kit because it is so beautiful and see where it leads me. This is what happened here! I got this kit from Doris Castle and just had to create something. This started out as sort of an art-journal page and then I added some pictures. It took on a life of its own. Perhaps the angels made me do it. LOL!

The ladies are my great-grandmother (Margaret Archamboult) and great-great-great grandmother (Minnie Moll). I did not know Minnie as she lived from 1847-1905. However, I knew Margaret very well. She lived from 1892-1995. She was such a special lady to me and I know she is looking out for me even today!

The lyrics are to a hymn we sing at church:

We are standing on holy ground

And I know that there are angels all around

Let us praise Jesus now!

We are standing in His presence on Holy Ground.

The paper and elements are from Doris Castle's Mirabella kit. A few exceptions: Lace corner and fancy scroll are Doris Castle's from her Pure Love kit and the stick pin is from her Bella Donna kit (all from Scrapbook Graphics). The word 'Angels' and the fairy are by Hope Wallace at Scrap Artist. And the scroll border is by Nancie Rowe-Janitz at Scrap Artist. Fonts are Miss and My Old Remington. Created in Photoshop CS2.
