YEE HAW! Confessions and gifts!

Howdy! Welcome to the last day of my blog party! It's been so much fun that I don't want it to end. But like all good things ... it must.
My first confession is that I love cowboys! So I thought I would give you a better view of the "wanted" man from my banner today! There were some definite benefits to attending Texas A&M University! (The 'A' in A&M stands for Agricultural.) I swear - those cowboys would walk around in their tight, starched blue jeans and long-sleeve shirts, boots and hats even in the 100+ degree Texas heat! But did they ever look good! LOL! Did I marry a cowboy? Well, no. I did better and married the best guy in the world but he's far from a cowboy. However, our first kiss was at a country bar!
Confession #2 ... I chose my own song to play on the blog today. So that means there is no official winner of the music contest. Don't get me wrong - there were some awesome suggestions but this is the song I felt should be played. So to be fair, I have decided to give EVERYONE a gift for reading my blog today! This kit is called Howdy and was created by Maya at Scrapbook Graphics. It's one of her older kits and is no longer available but I just love it! It's perfect for a western-themed layout and also has some alterable goodies. Download it HERE. (This link will only be active for 24 hours.) I used some of the images from the kit to create my banner today. The bandana paper, saddle, wanted poster (minus the hot cowboy) and the rope are all from Maya's kit. Please be sure to visit her store to see her other lovely creations. She is a great friend to me and an awesome designer!
IT'S NOT TOO LATE!
If you haven't yet created a layout with my Holy Cow! kit ... you have until 11:59pm EST tonight to post it and receive an awesome paper pack from Iron Orchid Designs. And one lucky person will receive a $10 gift certificate from Scrap Artist! (My daughter is going to help me pick out our favorite layout!) Just download it, create a layout and send me a link! Thank you to IOD and Scrap Artist for graciously giving me these goodies to pass on to you! CLICK HERE to see all of the awesome layouts already created with the Holy Cow! kit.
GET OUT AND VOTE!
And finally ... one of my very sweet friends (webchyck) has nominated me for a Scrapper's Choice Award. I'm up for the favorite site for digital shares from non-commercial designers. Polls for voting will be open until tomorrow. I would appreciate if you would vote for me if you have a spare minute. Winners will be announced August 1st. Also, be sure to vote for Digital Art Quirks and Doris Castle in the categories they are nominated for!!

Oooh I think we should recruit this guy as our token male scrapbooker. He could specialize in self-portraits :)

I really want to play but today is so booked. Church event + Kenney (the foster bun) is getting adopted. Happybday!

And as far as the cowboy goes-Yee Haw! That's one of the things I like most about living in Texas-all of the fine cowboys! Of course, I didn't marry a cowboy either, instead I married a wonderful software developer!
Thanks to you and Maya for the wonderful gifts! I just love them!!!!
