Toes, a Movie and a Really Cool Digi Kit!

My friend Claire has been out of town for a while and I have missed her. We finally got together on Sunday. I'm not a very girly-girl but somehow she talked me into getting a pedicure ... complete with matching PINK toes! Ah well ... what can you do? I gotta say, it was actually fun and the massage chairs were really nice. I brought the "water" and it was a real party!

Oh just look at those beautiful toes. That's my foot on the left. We liked the name of the polish: Cha-Ching Cherry! It's just fun to say and we said it ... a LOT!

After we were done at the nail salon, we headed to North Dallas and ate at a Tex-Mex restaurant called Margarita Ranch in Mockingbird Station. I had never been there before and they may possibly have the best queso dip in Dallas! Mmmmmm! I was also cracking up because they have 4 flavors of margaritas but for those of us who can't decide, you can just get a suicide (a mix of all four). It was funny to me because my kids always want to order suicides when we let them have soda.

Anyway, after we ate, we shopped for a few minutes but it was Sunday night and all of the stores closed early. My favorite store was Urban Outfitters. Cool stuff in there. So the stores closed at 8 and our movie didn't start until 9:30 so we had to look for another option. The only things open were Starbucks and some Irish Pub. Which do you think we chose? Yeah ... Trinity Hall Irish Pub. The place was packed! Strange since it was Sunday night. They were having some live quiz thing and it was kinda fun. We didn't stay long though because we had to head to the movie. We went to this really cool little theater that shows a lot of independent films and stuff. It's called the Angelika Film Center. And we saw Then She Found Me with Helen Hunt. It was pretty good but if you have ever gone to the movies with me, you know I have a tendency to drift off. I may have a bruise on my arm from Claire hitting me to wake me up! She says she is never going to a movie with me again... Anyway, here we are in the theater. It was a good night.

SOMETHING ELSE THAT'S COOL!

My good friend Christine (aka Fiddlette) created a kit and named it after me!!! I'm so excited. I love Christine and she is such a talented designer. And just listen to her description of the kit:

I just knew as I was creating these elements and the papers that go with
them that I was simply going to have to dedicate them to my closest on-line
friend Robyn England, aka happyrobyn! She is the happiest, most positive
and fun person in the whole digi world, and these elements are my homage to
her! 16 pngs in all, these unique one-of-a-kind elements are whimsical,
artistic, and are the perfect choice for any layout that you would love to stand
out in a gallery or in your personal family scrapbook! Enjoy!

It made me cry when I read that description. Go check out the papers and elements at Scrap Artist and while you're there, browse around Christine's whole shoppe. She is so gifted! Here are the previews. I'll be posting what I create with this kit very soon. And I have a feeling I will be using it over and over! Thank you so much Christine!

What music shall we play today? Christine made me feel good about being me today so how about Gavin DeGraw: I Don't Want To Be

Disneyland pictures are coming soon. I promise!
