The post that makes no sense...

I've abandoned my blog and I am sorry. Several of you have emailed and asked WTF is going on with me so I'll give you a quick rundown on the last couple of weeks. But bear with me because I have just put in two 12+ hour days at the gym. So if this makes no sense, it's because my eyes are only half open (and I haven't even been drinking!).
I'm ok, kids are ok, Marty is ok. I've been really busy this week because one of the Little Gyms near us went out of business and we have been trying to find space at our gym for them.
Last weekend we took the kids to a pizza/indoor amusement place and they had a great time. Actually Lauren didn't go because she spent the night with a friend the night before and when I called to tell her that we were coming to get her, she screamed at me that "she did NOT want to go with us!!!!" And then to make her point even clearer, she called me back on my cell phone and asked if I had heard her. Such a pleasant little girl. I don't know where she got her attitude! Oh well ... she missed out on pizza, go carts, mini golf, bowling and games. Here are some pictures. Nick loved bowling the best. Austin liked the go carts. Mackenzie liked building his stuffed dog. And, of course, they all liked playing Mario Bros.
When the kids are away... the adults do stupid stuff in the middle of the night. Two weekends ago, I ended up at home alone. This does not happen very often but Marty was going out with his friend and then Lauren asked to spend the night with a friend and then a neighbor asked if all of the boys wanted to spend the night with him. So, I went out with my friend Claire. It was fun times. We met some world champion calf roper so that's what the picture of me and the cowboy is. And then I went home early because I had to work the next day and what did I find? Marty and the Burger King standing in my kitchen! That's his friend Mike. They talked me into staying up with them for a while (until like 3:30 in the morning) so work the next day was not pretty.
Lovely picture, huh? Mike's a little obnoxious ... can you tell (sorry Mike!).
Well, there is a reason this blog is called 'happyramblings' and now you know why. This post has absolutely no comprehensible material. But I was tired of looking at that old post and I had some recent pictures hanging out on my hard drive.
I don't even feel like thinking of what song to play so I'll just play the currently most played song in my iPod. Alright ... just checked on that and here you go ... an oldie but goodie. This is AC/DC.

I promise to actually have something to say next time I write. And thanks to all of you who have checked on me. I'm fine ... really.
