A New Challenge, A Princess and Attempted Murder!

I have done pretty much zero scrapping for the last two months so today when I posted the Heritage Challenge at Scrap Artist, it felt pretty good. Hopefully some of you guys will still play along with me. If you would like to check it out, click here. The challenge is called "Eclectic Ancestry" and it's a fun one. My sample layout is on the left. This is my great-great grandpa.
Not much new on the England front. Last night I finally talked Marty into taking a class with me at the gym. It was a cycling class but the problem was that it was right in the middle of the Ohio State/LSU football game. So I had the owner turn the game on just for him. But, he decided after about 5 minutes that he would rather lift weights than be in class so that was fine. At least he went to the gym. I had a great time in class and that is where I met Princess. She was the instructor and seemed nice enough. I had heard about her from a couple of people because she teaches a lot of fitness classes in town. I was feeling all good about myself and thinking that I am getting pretty strong and then about 10 minutes into the class, Princess was starting to sweat so she took off her jacket. Holy cow! That girl could kick my ass in about 5 minutes! I don't want to be that big but, man, she looks good. I'm going to start taking her pilates class on Thursdays and she has promised me the flat stomach I want in plenty of time for bathing suit season.
And speaking of bathing suits, I was at Target last weekend and they already had their bathing suits out. I couldn't believe it. I mean, we haven't even had winter yet. But it made me want some hot weather!
And now about the attempted murder. I am no chef. I barely get by in the kitchen but Marty is nice enough to always eat what I make. But tonight, I had a slight problem with the spaghetti sauce. When I opened it, it went flying across the counter top and the jar broke. But I thought I had salvaged half of it. So I made our dinner and Marty was chewing and got a sudden panicked look on his face. Then he spit out a big chunk of glass. OOPS! I failed to mention that he may want to look out for glass chunks. Oh well ... makes the meal taste better, don't you think?
That's it for now. Here's some music for you ... Pink: Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely).
