Marty and I joke all of the time about why we wanted a girl so bad since Lauren is such a toot. And it's days like today that just reinforce that question. While Lauren was off doing girly stuff with her friends, we rode our bikes with our boys and a neighbor out to the construction site behind our house. We all had a blast and it was really great to see Nick having fun because he's been having such a tough time lately.
Marty and I rode our bikes around the newly paved streets while the kids climbed up the dirt hills. They are such a mess! I guess baths can't be avoided tonight.
They had the most fun throwing rocks and clumps of dirt into the drain pipes. In the last picture, you can see the back of our house. When construction is complete on the new neighborhood, our yard is actually going to become bigger and we will have to move our fence back. But that's a small price to pay for about a quarter of an acre of extra land!
That's it for now. Sorry I have been such a bad blogger. I'll try to keep up better but it's been so long that I don't know if anyone actually reads my ramblings anymore.
You all know how much I love Keith Urban so here you go: Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me?
