I know a girl. She puts the color inside of my world. She's just like a maze. Where all of the walls all continually change. And I've done all I can. To stand on her steps with my heart in my hands. Now I'm starting to see. Maybe it's got nothing to do with me.
I can barely look at this layout without tearing up! I took this picture of Lauren at a park two weeks ago. It was a fun day for just us girls. Marty was out of town with Nick and Mackenzie. And Austin was at baseball practice so Lauren and I had a couple of hours to ourselves. She can be such a toot when all of the kids are together. But when we are all alone, she is a totally different little girl. When I look at pictures of Lauren, I can see that she is growing up so fast. In this picture, in particular, she looks almost like a teenager to me and she's only 7! [See layout credits here.]
Well, it seems that I have a problem. I create too many layouts of Lauren and not enough of the boys. So, I am officially putting Lauren on hold for a while so I can catch up with Nick, Austin and Mackenzie! Here are a few layouts I have made for Lauren recently.
And some ATC's as well. The song choice today was a no-brainer. John Mayer: Daughters
I'm not sure you can do too many layouts of Lauren. She might be a "toot", but she's a cute "toot".
ReplyDeleteYour lo's of Lauren are beautiful. I have a "Lauren" too and she looked just like your "Lauren" when she was seven. Mine is turning 18 next week and a Senior in HS. You can't scrap too many pics of your kids because when you scrap their images, it freezes that very moment in time that you want to remember about them for the rest of your life. Your kids are beautiful and I love your lo's. Your John Mayer song, daughters, was so fitting for your post and after seeing your Lauren and then mine, I realize that seven years old seems like yesterday. Capture every moment you can because before you know it, she'll have her own little "Lauren". Thank you for your post. I loved it.
