Happy 4th of July!

We're planning on having a fun time at the Dallas Zoo today. Then tonight, hopefully it won't rain and we will be able to watch the fireworks that they shoot off over the lake. Now that we have moved, we should be able to see them from our back yard. Marty took Nick to Shreveport with him yesterday and on the way home, they stopped at a roadside stand and got quite a few fireworks that we will light. We are just barely in city limits so hopefully they won't come arrest us.

I went searching for God Bless America on YouTube and I found this version by Celine Dion which is a little odd to me since she is Canadian but that's ok ... all of my kids are Canadian/American so it seems appropriate.

And here we have the only semi-patriotic layout I could find. This is little me in about 1973. You gotta love that hair! Happy 4th everyone!!! Be safe.
