Please say a little prayer...

My youngest little guy, Mackenzie, is having surgery early tomorrow morning. We have to be at the hospital at 6:15am and surgery is scheduled for 7:45. It's just routine ear surgery. He has some really bad blockage in his right ear that is causing him to have mild to moderate hearing loss. The doctor will remove that and then determine if he needs to put tubes in Mackenzie's ears again. He had a set put in 3 years ago when he was only 3 but it seems he is still having trouble with fluid in his ears. We want to do whatever we can to help Mackenzie so that his hearing loss doesn't become permanent. Even though this is just routine stuff, as a mother, it still scares me. I just spoke with the anesthesiologist and they are not planning on giving him an IV so that is a good thing. But enough rambling. I need to get in bed if I am going to be at the hospital by 6:15.
