Summertime!

I must say that I am loving the summer so far. Don't get me wrong ... it is stressful trying to coordinate work, 4 kids out of school, and all of their various activities. But it's just so nice to be able to spend time with them. And summertime always brings back memories from my own childhood. I usually spent summers at my dad's house and at my grandparents' cottage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Here's a layout I did about my childhood summer memories. And, just for fun, here's a Kenny Chesney video. This song always makes me smile ... especially when he says the part about the Yoo-hoo bottle. I love Yoo-hoo but haven't had one for years. Maybe I'll go get one today!
