Mackenzie woke me up at 4:30 this morning and asked me when it would be morning so he could play Playstation! Here are some pictures I took at about 7:00am. He feels much better. Austin also feels better and is playing with Mackenzie. Lauren is still asleep and poor Nick had to go to school because he's the only healthy one and he's trying for perfect attendance this year!

What a trooper! He looks so chipper after his ordeal! (((Hugs))) to him all the whole family!
ReplyDeletePoor little guy! Hope you all stay well for awhile now:-)
ReplyDeleteCould that little boy look any more like you? LOL! Too cute! Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteAren't kids resillient?! Looks like he's such a trooper, and it does help to have a friend there to get ready for surgery with you...(ie: his gator!) :)
ReplyDeleteHugs all around to each of you, as well as prayers for continued and quick healing!
Poor thing, isn't he a brave boy, smiling for the camera 'tho. I hope the worst of it is behind you now! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm very sorry to post this to your comments section but I couldn't get your email to work! I am from the US and interested in exchanging blog links with you!
ReplyDeleteIf you would be so kind as to email me privately perhaps we can link up :)

Robyn, so glad to hear that he's feeling better. Love that smile!
ReplyDeleteSo glad he is feeling better. My daughter has undergone several different surgerys for her hearing, It is so hard to see them in pain. Her's were exploritory in nature.
ReplyDeleteYou mentioned that he may have significant loss till his next surgery. If you can't use a hearing aide, have you looked into an FM system. My daughter has used her fm system for quite some time and loves it!
take care and hope all goes well .
p.s. just love your newsletter!
He's a very brave little guy. Hope he's feeling much better by now.
ReplyDeleteIf it's any comfort, we've dealt with a cholesteatoma in our family too. Both surgeries went well and no ill side effects 6 years later.
Be glad to answer any questions, if you'd like.
he's so brave!! *bawls* Good on him!
ReplyDeleteThis is a little late so I apologize for that. He's so cute the way he's smiling. Hope all is well now. Looks like he was a good patient. I hope all goes well with this long term!!!
ReplyDeleteTake Care.
