Completing my series of posts about my boys, I need to introduce you to my middle son, Austin. In every family, there is one kiddo who makes things ... interesting. Austin is the one in ours. He's the sweetest ... he's the cutest ... he's the most frustrating! I tell him all of the time that he is lucky he is so cute! He just always has that sparkle in his eye and keeps us on our toes. He always has.
Austin is so much fun to be around. He just has something magical about him. He struggles a bit with school because it's hard to stay focused. I mean, can a kid really be expected to stay in his seat for more than 15 minutes at a time?! Austin's specialty is jumproping. His school really focuses on this and even has an "Hour Power Team." To join the Hour Power Team, you have to jump continuously for an hour. Last year, he led the school with 11 hours! This year, he is tied for the lead but with just 2 hours so far. They no longer allow kids to come before school to jump so they don't have as many opportunities and this kind of frustrates Austin. In addition to the Jump Rope Club, Austin is also on the school Cup Stacking Team. He plays basketball and baseball, too. And he loves his Playstation 2.
I could talk all day about Austin but instead, I'll just post a few layouts. Click on the thumbnails to see larger images.
