The Studio Start today on the Studio Matters blog is to use 6 or more patterned papers on one layout. If you create a layout and post it to the Studio Starts gallery at Scrapbook Graphics, you will receive a free template designed by my good friend Fiddlette.
This is my layout for the challenge. I had fun with this. The man in the picture is my great-grandpa, Fred Archangeli. I never had the opportunity to meet him because he died before I was born.
I used Doris Castle's And There Was Love kit for everything except the stitching (which is Maya's). I even created the negative sleeve from some of the paper in the kit. This kit was designed more for wedding pictures but I thought it worked well here.
I always love seeing your heritage layouts!
