Arm Farts & Longhorns!

That title seems appropriate! I am an Aggie (I went to Texas A&M University). Our rival team is the University of Texas Longhorns. It's a huge rivalry and no good Aggie would ever be caught dead rooting for a Longhorn. Well ... this was always my philosophy as well. However, I found myself at Kohl's yesterday buying a burnt orange LONGHORN shirt ... for ME! Oh my! What we won't do for our children! Nick started baseball season last night and his new team is the Longhorns. So as any good mother would do - I have become a die-hard Longhorn fan. Please don't tell any of my Aggie friends!
And now on to the arm farts! Austin discovered this neat little trick at school yesterday. Sounds like he was really paying attention in class, doesn't it?! Well, he decided to create an arm fart club and you can only join if you can make an arm fart (you know ... where you put your hand in your armpit and flap your other arm like a bird until a fart sound comes out). I am proud to say that I am an official member of Austin's Arm Fart Club!
Sorry but that's it for today. I just wanted to show off this cutie picture of Nick from last night. I still can't believe he is 9!

  3. Arm farts...my son, Aaron, is finishing up his undergradute degree. He then plans to work on his Masters. From what my husband tells me you lick your palms first in the Master's Program, so you maintain a better armpit to hand seal. He informed my son that he has to earn this level before puberty, or he will have hair in the way. My son is home schooled, so I'm not sure if school is a factor, or simply it is a dominant trait on the Y chromosome.
